Summary

Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Rates Compliance Specialist based out of our New York City office. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 15 offices in six countries. 

 

The Rates Specialist will implement and maintain the firms rates in 3E. The ideal candidate will be detail-orientated with a strong understanding of financial systems, data analysis, and client service. This role will require in-office presence as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit expertise of 3E rate structure hierarchies and how to apply them to individual client agreements
  • Update and maintain timekeeper rates in 3E
  • Champion the implementation and management of dimensional rate structures
  • Identify and apply exception rate groups to client agreements
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal teams to assure seamless integration
  • Create and manage tracker of rate agreements to ensure 3E compliance
  • Work with Willkie Farr Financial Systems team to develop rate reports
  • Undertake ad hoc projects at the request of clients, partners and senior management
  • Keep abreast of legal industry rate management trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience advanced rate experience, including maintaining and implementing rates in 3E/Aderant within a law firm required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • High proficiency in Excel and the ability to quickly learn and utilize additional software and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with attorneys, external clients, and internal teams
  • Ability to commute to the New York office as needed required

ADA Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances
  • Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
  • Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
  • Ability to carry light to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.

Employment Status

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.

Pay Range Statement

The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
