Summary

The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking to hire a Learning & Technology Adoption Intern to join our 2025 Summer internship program and support the Learning & Technology Adoption (LTA) Team. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers  located in 15 offices in six countries. 

 

The LTA Intern will be a member of the LTA team and will participate in various projects. This role will give you the opportunity to work with LTA leadership and trainers to develop training programs and materials, facilitate existing programs, enter and manage classes into the firm LMS, and help create and update team processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching/facilitating to medium/large groups both virtually and in-person, as well as developing course content. Interns will have the ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain confidential information at all times.

Candidates must be willing to commit two days remote and three days in-office for a Summer Internship starting Monday, June 3 2025 through Friday, August 9 2025.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and qualifications may vary based on department needs; however the following provide a general overview of the requirements:

  • Develop and update training programs and materials.
  • Facilitate existing training both in-person and remote.
  • Create and update documentation around team processes and procedures.
  • Schedule classes and track attendance in the firms Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Enter & track work in the firms project management system.
  • Give and receive feedback on content developed by them and others.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to commit two days remote and three days in-office.
  • Experience in facilitating training to groups and individuals.
  • Experience in developing training programs and materials.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

ADA Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances.
  • Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
  • Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 lbs. on occasion.

Pay Range

USD $19.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.

Pay Range Statement

The pay range for this role is $19 - $22 per hour and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
