Summary

Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Sr. Desktop Delivery Architect to support the End User Computing group within the Information Technology Department. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 15 offices in six countries. 

 

This role is responsible for the design, engineering, and operational management of the desktop environment at the firm. Responsibilities

  • Engineer, update and maintain a high performing SCCM infrastructure that is responsible for operating system and enterprise application delivery to all endpoint devices.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end operating system (OS) deployment strategies using SCCM and Windows Autopilot.
  • Deploy and manage devices using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune for modern endpoint management.
  • Lead the packaging a distribution of software applications and device drivers ensuring seamless deployment with minimal disruption.
  • Establish and enforce a cadence for deployment of software patches across all endpoints to ensure that all systems remain secure and up-to-date.
  • Oversee hardware/software inventory management to ensure compliance and accuracy across the organization.
  • Implement zero trust security models for endpoint deployments to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
  • Apply and enforce security policies using Windows Group Policy (GPO) and Azure configuration service providers (CSP) for on-premises and cloud endpoints.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Relevant professional certification in Microsoft SCCM, Intune or related technologies is highly regarded.

Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Deep expertise with Windows 10/11 and advanced troubleshooting tools in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Management.
  • Experience managing and deploying devices with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra and Windows Autopilot and enforcing security policies through Azure CSP.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell and SQL to create/maintain advanced scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiencies within SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
  • Proven experience with endpoint deployments in a Zero Trust environment.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms/technologies like VMWare ESXi and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.
  • Familiarity with profile management and personalization tools such as Ivanti AppSense, Microsoft FsLogix.

  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
  • Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
  • Ability to carry light objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 20 lbs.

Pay Range

USD $185,000.00 - USD $195,000.00 /Yr.

Pay Range Statement

The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
