Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking an experienced Sr. Applications Integration Engineer to support the Enterprise Platform Group. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 15 offices in six countries.
The Sr. Application Integration Engineer is a key member of the End User Computing group within the Information Technology department and reports to the Sr. Manager of Advanced Endpoint Engineering. This role is responsible for managing enterprise applications by implementing, administering, and delivering enterprise application solutions. This role will also serve as a senior engineer on platform, software, and application implementation projects.
• Primarily responsible for all end-user application (EUA) integration and support, including key tasks such as profiling, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise applications and software in various end-user environments.
• Responsible for performing technical analysis, architectural design, implementation, and problem-solving for web and client/server applications.
• Deploy enterprise-level software with user personalization into the environment (both local and virtualized desktops) through extensive analysis, design preparation, and testing.
• Effectively identify, research, and resolve any defects within a given application and manage communication and interaction with application vendors for issue resolution.
• Research and test solutions to application technical issues, including scripting methods to automate processes where possible.
• Assist with the resolution of escalated incidents, day-to-day EUA issues, and participate in problem management activities.
• Participate in cross-functional team projects to implement new or updated technology. Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Advanced Endpoint Engineering to chart the strategy and implementation plan for the End User Computing (EUC) roadmap.
• Assist junior engineers in supporting enterprise applications and software in various end-user environments.
• Cross-train other IT staff in the use or maintenance of technology and prepare technical documentation.
• Expertise in Windows 10/11 and advanced troubleshooting tools in enterprise environments.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with legal applications such as iManage Work 10; Litera Desktop suite, including Litera Compare, Innova, and Contract Companion tools; IntApp Time; Adobe Acrobat DC.
• Strong technical working knowledge of business applications and operating systems, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 2021+, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome browser.
• Microsoft Office 2021+ development skills and experience with add-ins, toolbar customization, etc.
• Proficient with collaboration software in virtual environments, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, and Jabber.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and SQL for creating and maintaining advanced scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiencies.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms/technologies like VMware ESXi and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.
• Experience with profile management and personalization tools such as Ivanti AppSense and Microsoft FsLogix.
• Ability to solve problems using standard and non-standard methods.
• Proficient in documenting processes and procedures.
• Organized and methodical testing skills.
